Nostalgic for a real white Christmas, she heads to Colorado—minus her husband—to spend the holidays with her sister’s picturesque family. What she doesn’t expect is her reaction to her sister’s jerk of a brother-in-law, Jack. The passion he rekindles threatens to steal her damaged heart away from the husband who no longer deserves it, but new complications … Continue reading
Cerridwyn would like to welcome author Tetonia Blossom to our family of authors. Watch for her debut novel Jingle My Way to be released in November. Tetonia Blossom graduated from the California State University, Northridge School of Cinema, Television, and Arts where she discovered that day dreaming could actually be a career. She’s a soon to be Sims 4 addict who enjoys popcorn for dinner and spends way too much time with her imaginary friends. In her opinion, a story worth writing has to contain the 3 H’s: Humor, Heat, and Honest Heroines. She lives in Maricopa, Arizona with her … Continue reading
Cerridwyn Publishing would like to announce the coming release of A Little Moon Madness by author Wendy Sparrow! “The Cold and Lovely Moon” She kept improving her view. She went from a jail cell to a clear cube where she got to watch her fellow prisoner do shirtless chin-ups. Sure, she’d been shot full of crap, but hanging with Tiberius might make it worth that—up until the first full moon when she turns into a creature. As it was Tiberius’s blood they injected her with, he’d changed into a monster too and goes on a rampage in the mad science … Continue reading

Wendy Sparrow lives in the Pacific Northwest with two quirky kids and an amazing husband. She’s an autism and obsessive compulsive disorder advocate and was featured in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Raising Kids on the Spectrum. Her love of telling stories was much less appreciated at a young age—which is why she’s heard the “Boy Who Cried Wolf” so many times she could have written the screenplay at age five. She believes in the Oxford comma, the pursuit of cupcakes, and that every story deserves a happily ever after. Most days she can be found on Twitter (@WendySparrow) where … Continue reading
Cerridwyn Publishing would like to announce the coming release of The Teacher’s Vet by author Wendy Sparrow! Normally, nothing about the first week of school is life or death, but Mr. Wibbley doesn’t look right, even for a turtle. Having one of the students’ parents be a veterinarian seems like kismet to substitute teacher Nora Pike—having him be single and the small town’s most eligible bachelor much less so. Navigating the drama of the substitute teaching pool is hard enough without all the single staff despising her. Maybe once Mollie is in college, Caleb Bates, DVM can ease up and … Continue reading
Due to severe illness within the family of the owners of Cerridwyn Publishing, we are very behind on reading submissions. Please be patient with us as we catch up on everything. The long illness has taken its toll on the family. We are trying our best to get through all submissions as quickly as possible. We have posted calls for some Anthologies. We are looking for December Holiday, Valentine’s Day, Steampunk, and Urban Fantasy short stories. Please visit our Special Calls page for more information.
A common question we receive is how to write a query letter. For most authors, a query letter causes more sleepless nights than writing and editing the actual manuscript, second only to writing a 200 word blurb. The best way to view a query letter is to see it as a job cover letter for your story. In a cover letter, you want to introduce yourself, tell the potential employer why they should hire you, and what skills will you bring to the organization. If you apply that idea to writing a query letter it would look something like this … Continue reading
